The Raffaello model

The Raffaello model has a very elegant and unique overall look. This model distinguishes itself by the zipper which is placed diagonally on the front inside of the leg. Standard features for the Raffaello model are the WRAT leather, the stitched Vibram sole, the titan zipper, the reinforced outer shaft, and endless customization options. This model offers a high level of durability and comfort, due to the high-quality Italian calf leather. Like any other De Niro tall boot, this model is handcrafted by skilled artisans and Italian bootmaking experts at the De Niro Boot Co. factory in Casarano, near Lecce, in the South of Italy. There, the boots are also subject to a rigorous quality control process.
A variation on the standard Raffaello model is the Bellini model. The Bellini model has a more narrow ankle, but other than that, these two models are exactly the same. We do however recommend this tapered ankle only with calf sizes of M or smaller. With a calf size of L or bigger, a Bellini ankle would not benefit the proportions of the boots. Please mind that to ensure the best possible fit, any Raffaello order placed through My Riding Boots in a calf size of XXXS, XXS, XS, S, or M is placed with the factory with the Bellini’s ankle! Any Raffaello order placed through My Riding Boots in a calf size of L, XL, or XXL is placed with the factory with the standard Raffaello ankle! The outside of the Rafaello long boot is the standard model, in contrast to the Bellini, which is comfy on the outside. Do you have a preference for a different ankle (for example, the Bellini ankle on an L calf, or the Raffaello ankle on an S calf), simply leave a checkout note with your order.

Warranty  Brushed leather

These boots are (partly) made in Brushed leather. Because this leather is more susceptible to damage, this leather can become dull when worn frequently or when handled carelessly. The De Niro factory can repair some damage, but please mind that on Brushed leather boots the warranty can be somewhat less extensive. De Niro advises riders to use boots with Brushed leather for competitions and clinics only.
